An invitation to learn about the meridian pathways and a practice to restore the physical and emotional body. Meridians are pathways within the body through which our vital energy - known as Qi - flows. When we experience pain, illness, excess emotions or mental afflictions, we are experiencing a blockage of Qi within the body.

MYT is a therapeutic hatha-yoga sequence that integrates the meridians and acupressure points into a traditional asana practice. Each session starts with techniques to activate and stretch the pathways, followed by a guided gentle warm-up. The practice then continues with a nurturing and strengthening sequence of traditional Hatha Yoga postures, incorporating various self-acupressure points to restore the flow of Qi within the body. Through this practice that combines Yoga, Meditation, and Chinese Medicine, we can learn to heal ailments within ourselves. This relaxing and refreshing class is accessible and open to all levels.
